The VDEI Caption Centre produces captioned materials for senior secondary students. Initially established as a pilot project by VDEI in 2011, the VDEI Captioning Centre produces captions for educational audio-visual materials for senior secondary students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Captions ensure students who are deaf or hard of hearing have full access to curriculum materials. Victorian educators from all sectors: government, independent and Catholic schools can request captioning of materials.
