The Victorian Deaf Education Institute (VDEI) offers a professional learning program to build knowledge and capability for professionals who work with students who are deaf or hard of hearing.  As part of a wider learning needs analysis, the VDEI professional learning program is reviewed annually to identify current or future needs, design content and evaluate the program from the previous year.

As part of this year's annual review, VDEI is calling for expressions of interest to participate in externally facilitated focus groups that will provide feedback on current professional learning programs and clarify the future learning needs of professionals who work with deaf or hard of hearing children and young people in Victoria.

There will be three focus groups, held as twilight sessions at VDEI.

Participants will be provided with:

  • dinner and dessert
  • travel assistance (if travelling further than 100 kilometers within the state of Victoria, and
  • one voucher to attend a VDEI professional learning event.
