VDEI is offering a number of professional learning bursaries for professionals working in Victoria with deaf and hard of hearing students in 2015-2016. The bursary covers the cost of professional learning offered through VDEI and the cost of teacher replacement for these professional learning days (excluding Twilights).
The VDEI learning bursaries 2015-16 will be provided to Victorian schools and settings rather than to individual staff. A set number of professional learning days will be allocated to the successful school/setting. The allocation of professional learning days to individual staff will be the responsibility of each school/setting.
VDEI invites Principals, Managers, and Facility Coordinators to express interest by completing the online Expression of Interest form (link below). All questions must be answered in full. Applications must be endorsed by the Principal, Manager or Executive Officer of the school or setting.
Successful applicants will be notified of by close of business, 22 May 2015.
After receipt confirmation of a successful EOI, the nominated contact personal will be required to submit a proposed list of VDEI professional learning programs to be attended in 2015 and topics of interest for 2016. You do not need to select which professional learning programs you plan to attend at this stage.
Further information about providing this information will be provided to recipients. Any funds from the learning bursaries not utilised by 30 June 2016, are required to be repaid to VDEI.
EOI's close at 5pm, on Friday 8 May 2015.
Please note: EOI's can only be accepted from within Victoria.
