Children who use Auslan will be introduced to state of the art mobile technology to provide access to school excursion sites. An exciting new partnership project with the Australian Communication Exchange (ACE) embraces an adaptation of the Smart Auslan application with an education focus.
ACE will be adding educational programs in partnership with the VDEI and venue partners to add the suite of tools currently in use at significant sites, including the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) for the Napoleon Exhibition, the National Sports Museum and others.
Over the coming months we will be able to provide more information about this and we are very excited to be in partnership with ACE to ensure deaf friendly access becomes more widely available and a top priority in all educational settings.
