A second seminar for Dr Michael Carr-Gregg on adolescence and emotional wellbeing was held at the Victorian Deaf Education Institute on 25 October 2012. Dr Michael Carr-Gregg, who is one of Australia’s highest profile psychologists and author of seven books, provided an exciting evening presentation in the VDEI Learning Centre.
Alana Roy, Mental Health Social Worker, is a private practitioner providing counselling services to deaf, hard of hearing, and DeafBlind clients. Alana assisted Dr Carr-Gregg in the Q&A, giving a specialist deaf perspective.
‘Great. Succinct. Relevant. Informative,’ said Linda doRozario, primary teacher from Wesley College.
‘Great presentation that can be translated into disabilities in general,’ said Sandra Goldman, psychologist.
