Teachers and professionals working with students with hearing loss attended ‘The Latest FM technology for paediatric clients’ with Karin Gillies from Australian Hearing at VDEI on Thursday 29 May 2014. 
 
Participants learned more about the features available in the new FM and explored how these could be used to best meet individual listening goals, both within the classroom and in other everyday situations.
 
Karin Gillies is an experienced paediatric audiologist.  At Australian Hearing, Karin has worked with deaf and hard of hearing children and their families from the time of diagnosis until they turn 26 years old.  She has wide experience of hearing aid fitting and habilitiation for children with a mild through to a profound hearing loss.  Karin is also a Clinical Leader - Paediatric, responsible for implementation of program initiatives and paediatric clinical quality for Victoria and Tasmania.
