Round 3 Languages Teaching Scholarships for currently employed teachers

Languages Teaching Scholarships are available to currently employed teachers who have proficiency in a language in addition to English, and who wish to become a fully qualified languages teacher.
 
To be eligible, teachers must be currently employed in a Victorian government school and have full VIT registration. Teachers must also have completed a languages major or sub-major, or alternatively have a Statement of Equivalence.
 
Scholarship recipients who have a languages sub-major will be funded to undertake additional language study, a languages methodology course and an in-country language course.
 
Scholarship recipients who have a languages major or equivalent will be funded to undertake a languages methodology course and an in-country language course.
 
Round 3 Scholarship recipients will be funded to undertake courses in 2015.
 
The closing date for Round 3 Scholarship applications is Friday 29 August 2014.
