Innovation and Technology
of the strategic aims of the Victorian Deaf Education Institute (VDEI) is to
strengthen access, inclusion, and engagement for students who are deaf or hard of hearing and
education professionals to learning programs and curriculum, through the use
of cutting edge technologies.
VDEI is a
technology hub, allowing workshops and seminars to be beamed to teachers and
students in remote and regional areas across Victoria, via high density
information technology. This ensures that students who are deaf or hard of
hearing receive the best educational opportunities, regardless of location.
