Auslan

Auslan (Australian Sign Language) is the visual-spatial language of the Australian Deaf community. It features its own unique grammar, syntax, and vocabulary and uses handshapes, facial expressions, and spatial positioning to convey meaning.

Coming soon: VDEI has engaged Auslan Consultancy to develop a series of 6 self-directed online resources that will demonstrate basic Auslan and provide key information about the language and culture.
