Education Week in Victoria runs from 18-22 May 2026. This year’s theme is ‘Showcase your School,’ encouraging local school communities to celebrate and spotlight what makes their classrooms, students and staff unique.
More than 4,000 Deaf and hard of hearing (DHH) children and young people are enrolled in Victorian schools and programs.
Victoria offers three deaf education options:
- Schools for the Deaf
- Mainstream schools with Deaf Facilities
- Mainstream schools with Visiting Teacher support
